- There is some graffiti which I see very often. Every time I see this particular graffiti, I am puzzled. It reads "Free Bids". I wonder, who is Bids? How shall I do my part to Free him? Alternatively, where might I obtain my free bid? What shall I have bid upon? Are bids not always free? See, confusing.
- Simply by going straight where I usually turn, I have discovered a new running path. This path goes through Rottenwood Creek park.
- I am pretty sure that the name of this park doesn't mean "go ahead and dump all your trash here", although clearly many passers-by disagree.
- Also sighted: dead rat.

Colorado, Turkey Trot
- Santa and a Santa-dog. Santa-dog was mean to the other dogs.
- A group of teens dressed in ridiculous neon. A pack of past me's! In the first half-mile, a neon dude sprinted past me, then had to stop to dramatically adjust a knee-sock. He did not pass me again.
- Unattended keg of free beer. WOOOO Turkey Trot!

Atlanta dammit
Some college dudes menaced me! Dude barreled towards me and did a football-style fakeout move, whilst other dudes laughed. Here are some things I would like to say to dudes. DUDES:
- You will be slow like me in a few short years
- You are not even that fast (ba-zing!)
- Imagine if someone menaced your mother or sister in such a manner.
- It is always good to be nice. True story!

post-flood atlanta
- I was out of town during the flood 2 weeks ago
- But I heard that there were some....sewage....issues
- Specifically that there is a possibility that the...poo...can just "get on you" even if you do not get in the river or whatever
- Even now, 2 weeks later
- So all during my run I felt like...scared of the...molecules.
- They were touching me, I could feel them.

Buford, Georgia
- Ran a 5k. My boyfriend, who has not run a step in a year, beat me by 40 seconds. Curse my female skeleton!
- However, I was the ladies champ! The secret is to only enter very small, obscure races.

West Virginia, Nashville
- Well firstly I ain't been running much of late. I thought this here blog might motive me, but not yet
- In West Virginia I felt so gleeful with the cool weather that I made train-chugga motions with my arms
- Then I saw a bunch of young bucks (dude deers are bucks, yes?) and I made finger-guns at them, then I felt guilty, and then hypocritical because while I am quite the carnivore, I could never do the killin' personally
- I walked around the park in Nashville today observing the runners--you see a lot more that way. The main thing I noticed is that many runners do not wear proper footwear! That is sad for them, for good shoes can improve your running life mightily
- Also, many running ladies in the Vanderbilt area appear to be associated with the Greeks. Shocking!
